SES-PSC
SES Programs
The US Department of Education requires that schools in School Improvement offer Public School Choice (PSC) and Supplemental Education Services (SES).
Schools that participate in PSC in the school’s area include Middletown City Schools and Richard Allen Academy. A list of service providers for SES can be found on the ODE website. http://dnet01.ode.state.oh.us/ses/ProviderLookup.aspx
For the school year 2011-2012, the school can serve 16 students. Services will start in early November 2011.
In the 2009-2010 school year, 28 students were eligible for services and 28 students participated in the program costing a total of $49,049.
Public School Choice
Following the federal guidelines regarding the school's status, we are notifying you that you have the following options:
- You may continue to have your child attend Middletown Preparatory and Fitness Academy, which is the option we hope you will choose.
- Students may return to their home public school.
Students are eligible to attend a school in a district that is not in school improvement. However, other districts may be serving their own public school choice students and may not agree to accept your child.
If you have any questions regarding either of these programs, please stop by the front office and the Principal can tell you more.
